The Alberta School of Business in association with the High Commission of Canada and Air Canada, thanks you for your interest in the Alberta Business Case Competition.
Business Case: Climate Change We recognize that Climate Change is a real problem and we need real solutions to combat it. With continuing commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and combating climate change, the need for renewable energy and efficient energy usage has increased.
Solution? What small-scale or local initiative would you suggest to help increase the amount of renewable energy being produced or to reduce individual energy consumption? This can include anything from a green energy start-up to an incentive program to improve energy efficiency.
This is a solo competition – open to individuals only;
undergraduate Indian students – currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree can participate;
Business plan should be in word format – roughly 1200-1500 words;
Plan should be innovative, efficient, viable and actionable;
Shortlisted individual will be contacted for a more detailed plan for the final round. Details to be shared later.
First Prize: worth INR 10,000; consolation prizes;
